Diversified Chiropractic Adjustments are the most commonly used of all chiropractic techniques and
is probably the most familiar to patients. It entails a low-amplitude, high velocity thrust
delivered by hand, possibly with assistance from a table or block.

When receiving this type of adjustment, you chiropractor will utilize a drop table that has several
segments, called drop pieces. As your doctor applies a gentle thrust to the joints, the drop piece
is set in motion and assists in the thrust by minimizing the force used for the adjustment or
manipulation. This type of adjustment typically does not elicit any noise and is lighter than a
manual adjustment.

This type of method uses a handheld instrument called the Activator to provide gentle, low force
chiropractic adjustments. Our chiropractors have extensive training in how to properly administer
this technique. It is used to address spinal joint dysfunctions and provides a fast and controlled
thrust. This allows for a more precise adjustment, as the patient’s muscles are less likely to
resist. The Activator allows your doctor to zero in on the exact area of the body causing health
problems and effectively remedy the situation.

This evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization enables practitioners to
effectively address fascial restrictions and scar tissue through comprehensive training, resulting
in improved patient outcomes.

This technique is used to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting chronic
inflammation or soft tissue fibrosis. It uses specially-designed stainless steel instruments, along
with appropriate therapeutic exercise. The instruments are also used diagnostically to follow the
kinetic chain, to locate and treat a specific area of pain, as well as the cause of the symptom.

This chiropractic technique is a non-surgical treatment used to treat many conditions of the lumbar
spine. It is aimed at increasing spinal motion and resolving bulging discs and disc herniations.
This treatment is a safe, gentle, non-forceful procedure that works to take pressure off spinal
nerves that may be dysfunctional or injured.

Flexion Distraction treatment involves using a special table that flexes and distracts the spine in
an automated and gentle rhythmic motion. Your chiropractor will use some manual techniques with the
table to resolve the disc herniation or bulge. The goal is to allow your spine to move in a manner
that will remove pressure from the disc bulge. By creating negative pressure, the disc bulge is
pulled back into the spine. The flexion distraction motion also maintains healthy discs through
imbibition. This allows nutrients into the spinal disc and keeps them well articulated.

Chiropractic ultrasound therapy is used to decrease swelling and increase healing in soft tissue
injuries, such as tennis elbow, heel pain, back sprains, patellar tendonitis, and more.

This technique is an extremely effective, hands-on technique where your doctor applies gentle,
sustained pressure to the myofascial tissue. The goal is to restore motion and eliminate pain. This
treatment is ideal for individuals who have inflammatory responses, experienced trauma, or have
undergone a surgical procedure.

This rehabilitative taping technique provides support and stability to muscles and joints without
restricting the body’s range of motion. It is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing
process, as well as provide extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual
therapy administered within our practice.

Rather than using steam or the traditional “box of hot rocks” heating elements, infrared sauna
heaters use the infrared spectrum to promote relaxation and many other wellness benefits. In an
infrared sauna, the air temperature is less important than the quality of the infrared heat. As your
body absorbs the infrared heat, this will increase thermal energy inducing a deep and relaxing
sweat.

What is Class IV Cold Laser?

Class IV laser therapy is a powerful, yet non-invasive treatment option that effectively addresses a wide range of conditions. By utilizing a high-powered laser, it effectively reaches deep into the tissue, triggering cellular-level healing. This therapy has been extensively proven to offer relief for chronic pain, arthritis, sports injuries, and post-surgical recovery. With session durations typically ranging from 3 to 7 minutes, it offers a quick and efficient treatment option. Whether you’re an athlete aiming to recover from an injury or an individual seeking relief from chronic pain, class IV laser therapy is certainly worth considering.

How Does Class IV Cold Laser Work?

Class IV laser therapy employs the use of a high-powered laser to directly penetrate the body’s tissues. The laser emits a specific wavelength of light that is readily absorbed by the cells within the tissue. This absorption triggers a cascade of chemical reactions within the cells, effectively promoting healing and minimizing inflammation. Moreover, this therapy significantly enhances blood flow to the affected area, further augmenting the healing process.
